U Condos at Bay Street
U Condos is a new condo project by Pemberton Group. Construction was completed in 2014 at Bay Street and Saint Mary Street in Toronto. U Condos is made up of two 55-storey and 45-storey buildings and there are a total of 755 units. Floor plans range from studios to 2-bedrooms and the suite range in size from about 400 square feet to 1,169 square feet. Units are priced from $670,000 to $1.3 million.
The suites are designed with open concept plans and expansive windows to draw natural light into the unit. The units have premium features like pre-finished engineered 5 inch wide flooring for foyer, living/dining, bedroom and den, a solid core wood veneer suite entry door complete with brushed chrome level handle, 9-foot ceilings, 8 x 8 ceramic tile for storage and laundry room, mirrored closet sliding doors with chrome finishes and more. The kitchens have custom cabinetry styles from vendor’s samples, Corian kitchen counter tops with 2’ edge detail along with Corian backsplash to match the countertop, a single stainless steel under-mount sink with single lever pull out faucet. The bathrooms have features that include porcelain or mosaic floor tiles, Corian countertops, a chrome faucet, designer vanity mirror and light, waterproof shower ceiling fixture and a 5’ white soaker tub as per plan.
U Condos provides residents with a 4,500 square foot amenities area per tower that includes a party room, exercise room, concierge and library. The condominium is located adjacent to the lush grounds of the St. Michael’s College campus of the University of Toronto. Residents are steps away from world-class shopping along Bloor Street, Yorkville and Hazelton Avenues. There is a wide variety of cafes and fine restaurants along with world famous designer boutiques, specialty food stores, galleries and salons and spas. The TTC is only steps away while the Gardiner and Don Valley are easily accessible by car.
